Currently an Associate Creative Director, I have experience in leading teams, guiding executions leveraging campaign and brand direction, developing best in class storytelling creative which drive conversion.

I have had the opportunity to develop and inspire creative designers and copywriters on a variety of projects and platforms. Building relationships and collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and building a strong, creative culture allowing for opportunity, growth and innovation is what I strive to bring to internal creative teams.
Associate Creative Director
While working at Barkley, I was an ACD working on the Payless account. I led a team of four and we developed creative for Payless.com, CRM, Social and affiliate partner creative. My team focused mostly on site and affiliate, flexing into other channels when support was needed. I worked closely with my Creative Director and executive leads at Payless, working collaboratively on strategy, marketing plans and creative executions.
We worked on a rebrand of the site, elevating the photography and the design system. The goal was to create consistencies in type hierarchy, clean design, simplification for customer navigation and user experience. Heroed product shots and clear product callouts were a large part of the system.

Photography
While working with limited budgets, pulled together a local stylist, used internal talent and local areas in Kansas City to shoot, I photographed a variety of products for additional content to be used in Payless instagram and Facebook pages.
Associate Creative Director
Currently an ACD at Shutterfly, I run the web and app team consisting of four designers and two copywriters. I work cross-functionally with a number of UX, Engineering and E-commerce product teams, to bring product marketing and storytelling to life on Shutterfly.com and the Shutterfly App. 
As an ACD, in addition to managing the run the business work, I am able to lead campaigns. These campaigns help to guide the creative execution across multiple channels, aligning over-arching messaging and assets. I have worked on campaigns for Travel, Holiday and Valentine's Day.
Over the last several months, with the onboarding of new leadership, I have been able to work closely with our CD, VP of Creative and CMO to concept and design a new brand system for Shutterfly. 
Valentine's Day Campaign
Worked with a small cross-functional team to develop a seasonal campaign for Valentine's Day gifting to run on site, app, CRM and social channels. I over saw creative direction on copy and executional projects. Developed illustrations and animation for the campaign. ​​​​​​​Below are some examples of the creative work.

Brand System Redesign
Worked with a small team to develop a new conceptual design system for Shutterfly, modernizing the look and feel, photography style, introduction of a new serif display font, and redesigning the CMS components for a modern, functional design aesthetic. With this new system, we wanted to hero product imagery, easily navigate the customer deeper in the funnel and inspire customer's through better product storytelling.
